Foraging and Wine ~ October 17th & 18th 2014

The 'Art of Foraging' at the Park Hotel Kenmare with Bill O`Dea of Mushroom stuff and James Coffey Head Chef, Park Hotel Kenmare October 17th & 18th.
The Park Hotel Kenmare is adjacent to acres of mature woodland, hills, rivers and bordering Kenmare Bay and offers an ideal habitat for foraging.
Foraging expert Bill O` Dea and Head Chef James Coffey, team up to host an exclusive rural retreat in the five-star comfort of the Park Hotel Kenmare.
Over the weekend, the expert foragers will lead excursions into the depths of the local countryside to unearth an abundance of wild seasonal produce. Participants will gain the confidence and knowledge to identify and gather edible mushrooms, while learning how to incorporate these ingredients into delicious dishes accompanied by the perfect wines.
Highlights will include a foraged mid afternoon in the woods, and tuition on foraging and great fun.
The art of foraging package includes a two-night stay in a Deluxe double/twin room ,  foraging  tuition , excursion with foraged lunch , dinner on one evening and Full Irish Breakfast each morning
